Who are we?

Rachel and Stefan, Media students at Birmingham City Univeristy. 

 

What is Travellers Talks?

A project designed to educate and enlighten prospective travellers through audio podcasts and slide shows, which portray culture snaps of Europe. 

 

What we did?

We embarked on a ten day trip around Europe, where we visited eight countries. We ran around like headless chickens, interviewing locals and tourists on their opinions of their surroundings, and specific themes. 

 

Why did we do this?

We feel that travel podcasts at the moment only offer advice of where to eat, and stay, yet they shed little light on culture and the personality of the people who live in these places, and those who visit it. Therefore we feel our work can act as 'Culture Snaps' and enlighten future travellers.
